SUMMARY: The Office Administration Associate for Dispositions performs administrative functions for the Office Manager. With guidance from the Manager, facilitates the efficient operation of the department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The successful individual will demonstrate strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, computer skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answers phone calls and transfers calls to appropriate individuals as needed.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Handles past due accounts and contacts customers regarding collection accounts.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Firearms knowledge and auction experience desired but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers in a calm manner.
  • Ability to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through on tasks and problem solve with minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work in a busy environment.
  • Must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google WorkStation.
  • Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of LSB.
  • Must have valid CA drivers’ license, clean DMV, and criminal record clearance from DOJ.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 1 – 2 years of related work experience preferred but not required. A High School Diploma and/or an Associates Degree and 3 to 5 years of related work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be considered.
